Pinay Scandal - Battle

Pinay Scandal – Keyword Lure

pinay scandalIt is by fact that the most searched keyword on the Internet here in the Philippines is Sexy Pinay Scandal, Nude Pinay Scandal, Pinay Scandal, etc. Every time you search for Pinay Scandal, it usually takes you to a Porn Site, therefore destroying the image of the pinays.

Thanks to the movement that was started by a Filipino blogger named Macuha, bloggers were encouraged to blog about the Pinay Scandal keyword, in order to gain rankings in the search engines. Now, whenever you search for Pinay scandal, most of the results will be from the entries made by fellow bloggers and not taking you to any Porn Site that destroys the Filipina image.

Cronous

Cronous

Full 3D Graphic MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game) CRONOUS is a full 3D graphic MMORPG. Therefore it supports Zoom In/Out function and camera rotation, enabling the changes of visual point. CRONOUS fixed the height of camera to play the game at the most comfortable visual point. So a player can enjoy the game in a familiar environment like RPG game in Isometric Perspective/ Quarter View Perspective. You can meet various characters equipped with full 3 D graphics, monsters, great special effects and vivid animation.

I got into this game late year 2007, my main character is blurem23 (level 92) on the lapis server, a Mage class. Playing this game is addictive and enjoying. Got plenty of friends there too. I invited 2 of my co-workers and now they are playing with characters higher level than me! Lieruj currently at level 97 going 98 and Assasslnat0r (NEMZarcher before) now level 103, both of them are Valkyrie class. I got my very own guild, Master Elementals, not a famous guild, and many players have come and gone, some are active and some are not. Changed my flag 3 times already.

While playing the game, in every level you will be able to meet new monsters and enjoy discovering new maps to explore. At first you could go by yourself to level, but the higher you go up, requires more team play and you must play with a party. And what’s nice about Cronous that I think is very hard to hack and cheat. The only thing I know which exist, is the speed hack, which some players have been using. But, they don’t give you that much advantage in the game.

Below are some screen shots that I took while playing the game along with my friends.

Living Proof

The Living Proof

The Living Proof is based on a true to life story of a doctor / oncologist named Dr. Dennis Slamon, who developed a drug called Herceptin, an alternative cure for cancer.

"Chemotherapy works on the principle of killing cancer cells, and almost (killing) the patient, with poison," he says, "and just hoping the new cells grow back cancer-free. That doesn't make sense to me."

Slamon's better idea is a "superprotein" that can "target the bad cells and turn them off like a light switch. It won't cure the cancer, but it'll shut it off, which is almost as good." And with no harm to other cells, which means no side effects.

He adds that such a drug could save the lives of many of the 200,000 women diagnosed with breast cancer each year.

Source International Herald Tribune

The Movie Plot
The film concerns the true story of Dr. Dennis Slamon (played by Harry Connick, Jr.), who helped develop the breast cancer drug Herceptin. Dr. Slamon is a research doctor at UCLA Medical Center (Los Angeles), where he has developed the experimental drug Herceptin, which he believes will become a treatment for breast cancer. However, when the drug company stops funding for research, philanthropists, including Lilly Tartikoff (Angie Harmon) and Ronald Perelman help him continue tests of the drug. Dr. Slamon loses some patients involved in the tests, but ultimately his work with the drug changes the course of breast cancer treatment.

Tim CalHoun

Tim Calhoun, funny and famous, SNL (Saturday Night Live – Will Forte)

"I am Tim Calhoun, and I am running for the office of Senator. A lot of people don't know who Tim Calhoun is. So I'm going to tell you who Tim Calhoun is, and why I think Tim Calhoun should be next senator. I, Tim Calhoun, am... nice, trustworthy, genuine, likes music, dancer, aggressive... I have used a lot of some drugs, and some, not at all. Mainly pot and beer, but a little bit of cocaine. I'm real sorry about the cocaine, but there are times when I feel like partying and staying up real late, and cocaine can really help you do that. I am not married, so my sexual history is not relevent, but if you must know, I have some babies. Mainly by black ladies. But some by white. And a China-baby. I love whales, but they have to go. So I am going to organize a whaling party that will not stop until all whales are dead. America needs another big lake. In conclusion, and in summary, you can't spell America without Tim Calhoun, and the letters "R," "E," and "A."

"I am Tim Calhoun, and I am running for the office of President of America. You're probably wondering why I, Tim Calhoun, should be next President of America, and that is why I'm going to tell you why I, Tim Calhoun, should be next president of America. I got a lot of great ideas. I propose a little more California, and a little less Mexico. When's there gonna be a China-person on the Supreme Court? I propose: Never. I say we ask France if they wanna trade the Eiffel Tower for the Grand Canyon, but after they send us the Eiffel Tower, we don't send them the Grand Canyon. Horsey sex is bad. I wanna make a law against that. Horseys are for riding. Blind people think they're so cool. I miss dinosaurs. Let's do somethin' about that. In conclusion, and in summary, vote for me, Tim Calhoun, and I'll turn unemployment into a shiny diamond."

"I am Tim Calhoun, and I am running for candidate for President for America. My candidacy is based on honesty, so there are a few things about me you should know. I've been in jail. It's not important how many times, but if you must know... I'd say... one, two, thirty-one times. There are times when I'm not gay at all. But then there are other times I'm so gay it more than makes up for it. Here's where I stand on the issues: I'm glad that drunk driving is illegal. When I am drunk, I drive like crap. I propose that for scientific testing purposes, we breed a type of midget even smaller than the normal midget. We can call them Shetland Midgets. There's nothing on this card. In conclusion, and in summary, read my lips: (whispering gibberish). I think that says it all. Vote for me, Tim Calhoun, for Candidate for President for America for goodbye."

Deep Fried Pepsi

Deep Fried Pepsi? Come on guys, is this for real? Just happen to found it on Google trends, and it seems people are interested knowing what Deep Fried Pepsi is.

Well, according to this website 4Hoteliers deep fried pepsi is..

Arguably the best was still to come. Delicate house made gelatos were offered with...deep fried Pepsi! Sounds odd, but if you make a classic pate au choux, using Pepsi in lieu of water, the resulting batter when fried will have the texture of a beignet with the flavor of Pepsi. Dusted with powdered sugar.

Source Ingredients from 4Hoteliers

Deep Fried Pepsi

Should feed: 4

1 ¼ cups Pepsi
¾ cup W hole butter, unsalted
½ tsp Salt
1 ½ cups Flour
6 Whole eggs

How to do it:
1. Place Pepsi and butter in tall sided sauce pot. Bring to a boil.

2. Add the salt and the flour all at once time, beating together over medium heat until the mixture pulls away from the sides of the pot smoothly

3. Transfer to an electric mixer with the paddle attachment, beating in the eggs added one at a time, adding each one only after the last has been incorporated. Batter should be stiff enough to hold stiff peaks.

4. Place the batter into a piping bag or small bowl.

5. Heat 4" oil for frying (peanut oil works the best, but Canola is also satisfactory), in a high sided pot or deep fryer to 360F.

6. CAREFULLY drop ½"x 2" lengths or small quenelles (oblong balls) into the hot oil. Fry until a deep gold brown. Generally, the dough will be fully cooked 3-4 minutes after having risen to the surface of the oil.

7. Scoop out the cooked Pepsi, draining excess oil, dust liberally with powdered sugar and serve as is, or make it a fried Pepsi Float with the addition of ice cream!

Geralyn Lucas, a breast cancer survivor, diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 27! Following a successful mastectomy, Geralyn wrote a book titled “Why I Wore Lipstick To My Mas
tectomy” which later on made into a movie.

The book talked about her experiences and challenges in overcoming cancer. "This is a universal story for women," Lucas says, "We get ourselves in these boxes of who we are and who we can be. A lot of people say going through a serious illness makes you look deeply at who you are, and that can be true. But you don't have to have breast cancer to do that."

Geralyn Lucas now is currently working at Lifetime Television as a Director for Corporate Communications. Is happily married to Tyler, with 2 wonderful children, Skye and Hayden.

Peter Cook and Diana Bianchi Sex Tape - for real?

A reported sex tape involving Peter Cook and his teenage lover Diana Bianchi is now hitting the internet. According to Page Six reports, they have seen stills of the two person involve making love on a couch.

(Diana Bianchi - the other woman in the Christie Brinkley divorce scandal)

“Diana Bianchi’s lawyer says her client has no knowledge of allegedly being filmed having sex with Cook, nor helped leak the supposed tapes.”

"The notion of her having anything to do with the release of these tapes is absurd because she did not even know she was being recorded.”

"She has never had in her possession any video of Peter Cook & her together. I am not aware of any conversations had between Peter Cook and Diana Bianchi. Joe Tacopina and myself are still reviewing her legal options."

Again

well, never thought i would still catch sickness.. Im 26 yrs old yet i still get ill.. Sad thing is all i can do is lay in bed and feeling the pain inside me.. Tormenting me deep within and never knowing when it will stop. I have taken my medications yet still, this sickness keeps coming for me. Is it here to remind me of something? About the inevitable? Or is it here to let me know that i am not fully in control of my life. Whatever reason it accompanies, i hope in the nearest time should it end. My time have been wasted and gone nowhere. If there could only be someone who would take care of me and cure this sickness, then that someone i will treasure for in my lifetime.. How i long for a nurturer, somebody who could stay by my side..

Im Sick

Hi there people. It has been awhile since my last post and I’m back again. You might be wondering, maybe I was just too busy or maybe I have lost my passion for writing.

Well, I think the passion is still there, but I just need to create newer and nicer topics of interests. As of today, I am just writing because I’m on leave due to sickness. I got tonsillitis!!!!

So bad, I’m shivering in cold now. My throat hurts every time I swallow. I hope my fever will subside tomorrow so I could get back to work. There are still plenty of things I need to do, and this fever is a hindrance to what I supposed to be doing.

Now all I have is my room and my computer, connecting me to a lot of friends. Its amazing how technology works, I can still do tasks I was assigned to do thru email and private messaging. Communicate thru Friendster with my friends.

Well, I guess I have to go now and take a rest. My back aches, my headaches, my stomachaches, and my throat aches. What an agony. Anyways, life is like that, you just don’t know what happens next. I’m 26 years old and still I get sick.

The Patience of St. Joseph

The Patience of St. Joseph

Just this afternoon I heard my friend Keziah Reyes telling a story in front of my colleagues and it was all about the homily from the day’s mass. It was about a girl who never had met the man of her life. She had in her possession a statue of St. Joseph, the biological father of Jesus, whom she believed that if she’d pray to him everyday, Saint Joseph would endow her a companion in her life. As the days passed by, no one came. Years have already passed yet still no body came for her, and then she began to lose hope. Until she turned 40, she was so depressed that she got angry at the statue that she threw the statue out of her window.

Then suddenly a knock on her door came and it was a man, whose head was bleeding because something hit him, it turns out that it was the statue of St. Joseph that hit him. The man came inside her house and from henceforth they fell in love with each other and they live happily ever after!

St. Joseph is known to be a saint of patience, perseverance, persistence, and hard work. St. Joseph is a patron against doubt, uncertainty, and hesitation. He is the patron saint for workers and laborers.

If the person have the ability to wait, endure, and persevere in times of uncertainty, doubt, provocation, trials, etc. God will provide, and I tell you, He shows it in the most remarkable way, when you least expect it!

Love Lost

Let me dwell in a place where only my true love can find me..
Let her carry me in her arms like a motherless child..
Let her love and comfort arrest me..
Let me submit myself as a slave loosing his freedom..
Let your breath be my breathing life..
Accept me in your arms and lock me in your heart’s prison..
I long for your touch, your kisses, your hugs..
You define womanhood, I could ask nothing more..
Let me feel the feelings I once felt,
the night I held your body close to mine..
A night of bliss and a night of pure happiness..
Let me dwell in this place and forever wait until your return..
In this silence of the night I lay, my eyes closed and lost in fantasy..

Heartprints

Pass this to all your friends, your family, and your love ones. Send the message that what sent to you and you will experience love like no other and be blessed. Let them experience the same feeling of joy you get from reading this simple yet touching poem (prayer).

Heartprints

Whatever our hands touch --

We leave fingerprints!

On walls, on furniture

On doorknobs, dishes, books.

There's no escape.

As we touch we leave our identity.

Oh God, wherever I go today

Help me leave heartprints!

Heartprints of compassion

Of understanding and love.

Heartprints of kindness

And genuine concern.

May my heart touch a lonely neighbor

Or a runaway daughter

Or an anxious mother

Or perhaps an aged grandfather.

Lord, send me out today

To leave heartprints.

And if someone should say,

"I felt your touch,"

May that one sense YOUR LOVE

Touching through ME.

Philippine Independence Day – Freedom from Spain

Philippine Independence Day – Freedom from Spain

110 ten years ago, on this day, June 12, the year was 1898. After decades of Spanish rule, the Philippines finally had its freedom and independence from colonial rule. Emilio Aguinaldo waved proudly our flag in front of the Filipino people who gathered in Cavite el Viejo as the first play of our national anthem was heard among our brethren. Marcha Filipina Magdalo and now known as Lupang Hinirang.

I would like to thank the people who own this day. Because of them, we enjoy free speech, democracy, liberty and free will. Who are they? Who are these people? The true Filipino who owns this day are the Katipuneros, who are farmers, peasants, and fishermen who sacrificed their lives for their family to enjoy freedom, also, for us today to enjoy it. These people did not go to school and study the French Revolution like Rizal did. Nor they have great minds that made them famous like most of our National Heroes. These people just followed their hearts’ desire. The desire for truth and freedom.

I could not imagine what joy that would have been, especially for those who lost their love ones during the struggle. Maybe in this present time, we could not see the significance of that / this great day, June 12. For most people this day is just like any other holidays wherein you receive double pay or a time to take a day off, a day away from school, another time for strolling, a time to play or go out. Just like any ordinary day.

But if you would just imagine, if you were to live 120 years ago, every morning you wake up with fear, discomfort, and uncertain of your future. Like the Katipuneros did, every moment of their lives, controlled by people that is not of their own race. Deprived of the things that belong to them, land, property and even life. And then one day, you wake up and everything changes. Unspeakable joy and happiness, knowing your family’s lives would be much better. Experience the feeling to be free at last.

110 years may pass and so on. Our nation changes from time to time. Some say its getting better, and some say its getting worse. All I can say is, I hope the Katipuneros who gave us this freedom are proud and happy. I hope each and every one of us, on this day, or even everyday in our lives from henceforth, let us all embed in our hearts and minds the principles of the Katipuneros. Let their blood flow within our veins and become Katipuneros as well.

The Katipunan Objectives
Under the leadership of Bonifacio, the Katipunan laid down three fundamental objectives or aims: political, moral and civic. The political objectives consisted in working for the separation of the Philippines from Spain. The moral objective revolved about around the teaching of good manners, hygiene, good morals, and attacking obscurantism, religious fanaticism, and weakness of character. The civic aim revolved around the principle of self-help and the defense of the poor and the oppressed. All members were urged to come to the aid of the sick comrades and their families, and in case of death the society itself was to pay for the funeral expenses. For the purpose of economy however, the society saw to it that the funeral was of the simplest kind, avoiding unnecessary expenses so common under the rule of the friars.

How do bloggers make money? Earning money online

I supposed you have already read about my previous post describing what is a blog.

The next step would be introducing to you the most common and easiest way to monetize your blog. Knowingly or not you have may have already viewed hundreds or thousands of these.

Why I say common? You might not notice it but everytime you view a webpage, or a specific site, it is always present (although not all).

Why I say easy? It is easy because all you have to do is create an account, write your blog and copy & paste the html codes.

What I am talking about is a program called Adsense from Google. It is free to sign up and all you have to do is wait for the application to be approved (before getting an account with adsense it is advisable to create your blog first, post your first 2 to 3 posts). Putting it on your blog is easy, you just copy and paste the html codes that are provided by adsense. And what makes it even easier is that Blogger http://www.blogger.com/ (blogspot where this blog is hosted) have already automated adding adsense to your blog. Another thing is, all the ads that would be displayed on your blog will be related to the topics of what the reader is viewing.

Once you have your ads posted on your blog, all you have to do now is wait for your readers to visit your site and click on those ads. But, always remember, never click on the ads on your blog or else your account with Adsense will be disabled. All clicks made from your site are recorded and analyzed by the Adsense Team, and if they find something suspicious about those clicks, you will be banned from the Adsense Program. Also, never tell or instruct your friends or anybody to click on those ads.

Adsense payouts are done thru check, fund transter, and their new way the Western Union money transfer.

I hope I have contributed to your knowledge regarding this topic. If you have any questions, just click on the Forum tab on top, register there and post your questions on the Website reviews.

Entrecard is hosted with ThePlanet, and this fire has effected over 9000 websites, as many of the world's most popualar websites are hosted with ThePlanet. They are working around the clock to get their data center back online, and we are hoping that they get it back online fast.

Thank you for your pateince and understanding with this rare and frustrating problem. Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing we can do but wait for The Planet to get their datacenter back online.

Comcast.Net – Hacked?

Comcast.Net – Hacked?

I can’t believe it myself when I visited the site http://www.comcast.net/ and it said its currently under construction and coming soon. Many believe that they are fixing up many things with regards to their security on passwords. In my personal opinion, I don’t believe they are so. Maybe they’re just doing some regular maintenance of some sort.

However, it is also important of having a unique and very hard to get password, because even such a big and well-known websites are not immune to hackers.

For all Comcast users, it’s good to know that the site is up and running again.

However, I seem to notice, instead of http://www.comcast.net/ the home page appears at http://www.comcast.net/a/ with the "a" on the address.

Blogging - A Fresh Look

Blogging - A fresh look

Information technology that is right in your bedroom. Your computer is your gateway to the world. It is a limitless access to different ideas, products, solutions, etc. The web has now become a new world. Like two dimensions that co-exists, the real life and the i-life (internet).

In my real world I am an artist for food, I work as a sushi chef in a hotel here in my place, Cebu City, I work at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel on the outlet of MIZU. During my spare time and during my times spent at home, I become a different individual. My quest is to achieve or shall I say exploit the information gateway's potentials.

Not many people know, the Internet could be a source of income as well, aside from getting into contact with your friends and relatives, there are many ways to manipulate the web.

One I am particularly in to is “Blogging”, its words are not even in the dictionary yet, but here is its meaning. A blog (a portmanteau of web log) is a website where entries are commonly displayed in reverse chronological order.

"Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.Blogs are your online diaries. In your blog you could talk about yourself, other people, places, events, and much many many more. Thru this you could be able to express yourself and voice out your own opinion for a certain topic, and as well as listen to other opinions of people reading your blog thru their comments.

In blogging, one should have this enthusiasm for writing; it’s not an overnight task but rather continues throughout your lifetime. Write, write, and write, that’s what it is all about. And that is what I’m doing right now.

As I have mentioned, blogging as your source of income. How is that so? Well, there are many ways to earn thru your blog. The most common is the Pay Per Click advertisements.Pay per click is a method of advertisement wherein you post ads on your blog and if somebody reading your blog clicks on it and views the advertisement you get a corresponding point per click. And did I mention in DOLLARS? Yes, indeed, payouts are in dollars paid in check, fund transfer, or money transfer using courier services such as Western Union and /or PayPal.

So, what can you say? Want to start blogging? Just post a comment if you have any questions about blogging, and I’m sure I have lots to share with you. What are you waiting for? Blog now!!!

My Choices:

The California Maki in Rice Paper Roll - California Maki with a Twist

The California Maki in Rice Paper Roll - California Maki with a Twist
(California maki wrapped in rice paper)

Most Filipinos that love Japanese Foods, especially the ladies, really love eating California Maki. Maybe it is because it’s the most well known Japanese food, aside from Tempura of course. Other than its appearance and reputation, the taste of California Maki is acceptable in most Filipino palates. For the new starters and still learning to eat food items from the sushi bar, the California Maki is the best choice to start. California Maki’s original recipe from countries outside the Philippines, consist of avocado, crabmeat (it could be real crab meat or imitation crabmeat stick “Kani Kama”), cucumber, and lettuce. However, here in the Philippines, we substituted the avocado with our most favorite mango fruit, which even made the California Maki more delicious. Maybe it is because of the availability of the mango all year round, unlike the avocado that is seasonal.

As I have said, the California Maki is the best menu for a newbie eater in a Japanese restaurant to start. It is because the California Maki doesn’t have any raw meat inside its roll. All you will get is a fruity, sweet, and rich flavored salad with rice. My advice for the starters is to eat one slice of it whole. All slices are cut into bite size pieces, if you take a bite; chances are you won’t love it.

Also, most of the reactions I got from the starter are that they are not familiar with the flavor or taste of the Nori (Dried Seaweeds). And somehow don’t like it. The Nori is what holds the rice in place when rolling the California Roll, it also gives additional flavor to it. However, not most people love seaweeds. That’s what pushed me to create a new alternative way to enjoy the Califronia Roll. The California Maki in Rice Paper Roll is a new way of having California Maki without the Nori or Dried Seaweeds, its good for the beginners and for those who don’t love the taste of the nori. Same ingredients, same experience, and a bit of twist in its flavor.

Presenting to you a new twist to enjoy California. Happy dining everyone!

Blame it on the rain lyrics

Here's the lyrics of Blame it on the rain - Copernicus

You said you didn't need her You told her good-bye (good-bye) You sacrificed a good love To satisfy your pride Now you wished That you should have her (have her) And you feel like such a fool You let her walk away Now it just don't feel the same Gotta blame it on something Gotta blame it on something Gotta blame it on something

Blame it on the rain that was fallin' fallin' Blame it on the stars that did shine at night Whatever you do don't put the blame on you Blame it on the rain yeah yeah You can blame it on the rain

Should've told her you were sorry (sorry) huh Could have said you were wrong But no you couldn't do that. You had to prove you were strong ooh If you hadn't been so blinded (blinded) She might still be there with you You want her back again But she just don't feel the same Gotta blame it on something Gotta blame it on something Gotta blame it on something

Blame it on the rain that was fallin', fallin' Blame it on the stars that did shine at night Whatever you do don't put the blame on you Blame it on the rain yeah yeah

You can blame it on the rain Cos the rain don't mind And the rain don't care You got to blame it on something Blame it on the rain, that was fallin' fallin' Blame it on the stars, that did shine at night Whatever you do don't put the blame on you Blame it on the rain yeah, yeah You can blame it on the rain

(Blame it on the rain yeah, yeah) x 3 You can blame it on the rain, blame it on the rain, Blame it on the rain baby (Blame it on the rain yeah yeah) Blame it on the stars that did shine that night (Blame it on the rain yeah yeah) Blame it, blame it on the rain woo I'm walking I'm walking

Walking in the rain Walking in the rain

(Rain, rain) (Stars, stars) Whatever you do don't put the blame on you (Blame it on the rain) yeah yeah (Blame it on the rain) that keeps falling, falling (Blame it on the stars) that did shine that night Whatever you do don't put the blame on you Blame it on the rain yeah yeah Blame it on the rain (rain, rain)

"Blame it on the rain" hit a volcanic hotness on Google trends May 15, 2008. This is another SEO experiment.

Getting Readers From Friendster - Increase Blog Visitors

I started blogging my iStayl Sugbo just this January of 2008. These past few months I learned many new and strange things (since I am not an I T student, all the internet terms I come into contact were not familiar to me). The most significant word of them all is the SEO, meaning Search Engine Optimization. SEO is a complex process of improving the number of visitors in your blog or website.

I am not an SEO guru or an expert about this kind of stuff, but when I tried doing things the way most high-ranked blogs do. The results were amazing and of course satisfying for all the effort done. Because if I will look back the time I started this blog, seeing 1 visitor in my feed burner, already gave me a feeling of excitement.

That means I was better off today than yesterday. There is a sense of improvement. There are many ways to get your site ranked on search engines (Particularly Google Search Engine – the most used search engine in the world). The most effective way to have your blog included on search engines is, of course, the quality of the information you provide to the readers (internet users or surfers). It is because if you don’t have that quality posts, then the search engines won’t find anything for them to index at all.

Next best thing to do is to exchange links with fellow bloggers. As recommended by the blogging veterans, it is much advised to link only to blogs that have the same category as what you are blogging. For example, if you blog about Technology and High Tech Stuff it would be better if you link with another blog that’s similar to your blog. In this way your page ranking won’t go down. If you link with a blog that’s not related to your blog, chances are, instead of increasing your page rank, your page ranking will go down. However, most crap bloggers like me really don’t care about this stuff. As long as there is an exchange link, then it’s good enough.

One could also join blogging groups or communities like Blogcatalog, Pinoyblogosphere, Cebu Bloggers Society, are also another way of promoting your blog and gaining additional traffic. Submit your articles to different article publishers such as Digg. Joining forums and leaving your Url links everywhere on the web whenever you can. I call this as “Leaving a SH*T”. Every web page I visit, if given the chance to leave a link that links to your site, then I definitely will.

A blogger must also be aware of the latest trends or buzz and be able to post about it, in order to gain visitors that are using the search engines.
All these and more, generate traffic for your blog. But one thing I am in to now, I don’t know if there are bloggers out there who have tried this, is the use of my Friendster account. Using Friendster to promote a blog is for me the easiest way to gain traffic. Maybe its because there are already more than 65 million Friendster users out there.

What I do is create a post that is interesting for anybody to read, something that’s sweet or something sad, gloomy and even funny posts. After publishing that post on my blog, I would then send a mass message to all my friends on Friendster. Included in the message is an attractive Subject and with a message that would attract the user in reading more towards your blog. Also, always include the word “Pass this to all your friends.”

For example:
Subject: The Power of Letting Go L
Message: Letting go of someone for everyone seems to be the hardest thing to do, especially if that person already made a mark in your life. Somebody special to you and was there all thru the years, months, or days in your life. We always remember the things that had happened, the experiences you’ve been thru, it could be that saddest or the happiest moments. You can always recall that there was this moment in your life that nothing else matters in this world and that within this world the only significant thing that exists is between you and the person you love. To lose someone special gives pain that you wont know when its end. And every time you hear a hymn of a love song, makes you remember and even cry.
If you want to continue reading click here
Please pass to all your friends.
Just as simple as that and you will be gaining more traffic if your message will work. You will have your friends visiting your blog and your friends’ friends and so on. You will notice your counter going up day by day.

I myself could not believe that my unique blog visitors would reach more than 2k. Out of these visitors, majority of the referrals are from Friendster messages. My blog is not yet well optimized but I am happy to know that even though my page rank is not that good yet, I still can reach to many people, and that I can express my voice thru the words of my blog, then I was able to share it to others.

The Tale of the Three Trees

Sometimes we feel like our life has gone out of control and that things are happening not the way you want them to be. Your dreams are left just as dreams and that realizing it becomes even more difficult. And there are even times, sad to say, that we blame it to God.

I want to share with you this little story I came across way back years ago. I happen to have read this story when I was still a working student at DSWD (Department of Social Welfare Development). When I was arranging the files and cleaning up the drawer, I saw this piece of hard paper, and on it was written a tale that would truly change the way you look at your life now.

"The Tale of Three Trees"

Author unknown

Once upon a mountain top, three little trees stood and dreamed of what they wanted to become when they grew up. The first little tree looked up at the stars and said: "I want to hold treasure. I want to be covered with gold and filled with precious stones. I'll be the most beautiful treasure chest in the world!" The second little tree looked out at the small stream trickling by on its way to the ocean. "I want to be traveling mighty waters and carrying powerful kings. I'll be the strongest ship in the world!" The third little tree looked down into the valley below where busy men and women worked in a busy town. "I don't want to leave the mountain top at all. I want to grow so tall that when people stop to look at me, they'll raise their eyes to heaven and think of God. I will be the tallest tree in the world."

Years passed and the little trees grew tall. One day three woodcutters climbed the mountain. The first woodcutter looked at the first tree and said, "This tree is beautiful. It is perfect for me." With a swoop of his shining ax, the first tree fell. "Now I shall be made into a beautiful chest, I shall hold wonderful treasure!" the first tree said. The second woodcutter looked at the second tree and said, "This tree is strong. It is perfect for me." With a swoop of his shining ax, the second tree fell. "Now I shall sail mighty waters!" thought the second tree. "I shall be a strong ship for mighty kings!" The third tree felt her heart sink when the last woodcutter looked her way. She stood straight and tall and pointed bravely to heaven. But the woodcutter never even looked up. "Any kind of tree will do for me." He muttered. With a swoop of his shining ax the third tree fell.

The first tree rejoiced when the woodcutter brought her to a carpenter's shop. But the carpenter fashioned the tree into a feed box for animals. The once beautiful tree was not covered with gold or with treasures. She was coated with sawdust and filled with hay for hungry farm animals. The second tree smiled when the woodcutter took her to a shipyard, but no mighty ship was made that day. Instead, the once strong tree was hammered and sawed into a simple fishing boat. She was too small and too weak to sail to an ocean, or even a river. Instead she was taken to a little lake. The third tree was confused when the woodcutter cut her into strong beams and left her in a lumberyard. "What happened?" The once tall tree wondered. "All I ever wanted was to stay on the mountain top and point to God..."

Many, many days and nights passed. The three trees nearly forgot their dreams. But one night, golden starlight poured over the first tree as a young woman placed her newborn baby in the feed box. "I wish I could make a cradle for him," her husband whispered. The mother squeezed his hand and smiled as the starlight shone on the smooth and the sturdy wood. "This manger is beautiful," she said. And suddenly the first tree knew he was holding the greatest treasure in the world.

One evening a tired traveler and his friends crowded into the old fishing boat. The traveler fell asleep as the second tree quietly sailed out into the lake. Soon a thundering and thrashing storm arose. The little tree shuddered. She knew she did not have the strength to carry so many passengers safely through the wind and the rain. The tired man awakened. He stood up, stretched out his hand and said, "Peace." The storm stopped as quickly as it had begun. And suddenly the second tree knew he was carrying the King of heaven and earth.

One Friday morning, the third tree was startled when her beams were yanked from the forgotten woodpile. She flinched as she was carried through an angry jeering crowd. She shuddered when soldiers nailed a man's hands to her. She felt ugly and harsh and cruel. But on Sunday morning, when the sun rose and the earth trembled with joy beneath her, the third tree knew that God's love had changed everything. It had made the third tree strong. And every time people thought of the third tree, they would think of God.

That was better than being the tallest tree in the world.

What can you say about this story? When I finished reading it, it changed my view about life. And at that moment I knew that God has a separate plan for me. Each of us has our own blue print in life. We all have different dreams and ambitions in life, these dreams and ambitions are grounded by our present needs. We always want to be in control of our life, we want to control our future. However hard we try to do things the way we want our future to be. There are these never-ending obstacles that we continually face.

Life is never a smooth sailing, never dream of a smooth life, cause in the end, if you have overcome those challenges, you will sit proud and shall tell yourself that you have lived a life the way a man should. And that all dreams that you wanted will be realized in time, maybe not the exact thing, but for sure God has given it you because you deserve it.

Happy Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day
“For the hand that rocks the cradle
Is the hand that rules the world” - William Ross Wallace
I am writing this post for every mother out there. As a father, I can feel what it feels like to be a mother, all the sacrifices they undergo.
Woman, a female human, plays a vital rule in this world. From girlhood to womanhood, a woman experiences plenty of transformation in her life. A change most noticeable in a woman is her Menarche or a woman’s first menstrual period. A mark of fertility and is considered as a central event of a girls puberty.
One of the most significant changes that she would encounter is by the time she will carry in her womb a seed for the generation of herself. Having a child in your belly for 9 months is a difficult and I think the hardest thing that a woman does in her lifetime.
From a baby’s conception to its delivery a woman is now called a mother. Becoming a mother makes it even more difficult. Raising a child is a mother’s lifetime job.
And being her son, I would like to thank my mother for taking care of me the best that she could and even sacrificing her own happiness not only for me as her son and also for her granddaughters and grandsons as well. We love you ma. May God give you the strength that you always need.
I would also like to greet the mother of my child a Happy Mother’s Day, wherever she may be, I wish her the strength and wisdom she deserves. I know she’s thinking of our daughter right now. I know she loves her so much. Even thought she’s not here she will always be a part of our family. We love you.
