Western Kentucky University is now currently all clear and safe after a lockdown at midday because of a possible hostage situation after fire shots were heard inside the campus. Students were kept inside room doors locked to ensure their safety.
"What we believe we have is an altercation between a group of individuals," school spokeswoman Robbin Taylor told CNN. "It began in one area of the campus, moved to another area of the campus."
The police have searched the campus and wasn’t able to find any weapons or guns that could confirm the reports.
